Mukulungu hardwood decking
Our wish was to make a deck in a woodtype that is stable, flat and maintenance free. We have doubted between mukulungu and ipe hardwood. The choice was ultimately made on mukulungu. The terrace is now already 3 months old. We wanted the wood color to be preserved, which is why we oiled the boards.
Foundation pole hardwood
The foundation pole is the basis of a stable platform. These posts are struck in the ground, and the lower beam is mounted on them. This creates a stable foundation for the decking boards still to be installed. On every square meter of platform, use 3 hardwood foundation piles. Use the correct screws that can securely attach the foundation post to the bottom.

Ipe metal mounting clips
Last year bought a new house and this year with the garden to get started. DIY is fun! By using a more creative approach to forms I have come up with this model, so it becomes more frivolous in the backyard. I experienced the assembly with clips as very easy, the boards were nicely straight and in one day the project was made ready.
