At what time does The Stratton Group deliver?

On business days: ordered before 12:00, delivered the next business day.
Or select a different delivery date in the shopping cart.

  • The transporter will call you 1 business day prior to the delivery time. The driver will call on the delivery day.

Can I also collect my order?

Yes, this is possible. Place the order online and select the option collect.
Always take your order confirmation with you.

Do you have a showroom?

We have a large wood warehouse in Enschede, however this is not a showroom. This way we can keep the costs low. We have an online showroom with photos where you can get a better view of our products. You can also request a free sample to get a good live impression of the hardwood.

How can I pay?

Payment is possible by iDEAL interbankieren (online payment method in The Netherlands), bank transfer, paypal, credit card or post-pay via Afterpay (up to € 250)

Do you also offer assembly?

The Stratton Group itself does not offer assembly but we have very good contacts several handyman companies. Furthermore, apart from our assembly tips, we also offer very useful manuals that will most definitely simplify the work. If you decide to hire someone to do the assembly for you then these additional costs are for your own account. These costs never are never via Hardhout Discount Online B.V.

Which types of hardwood do you sell?

We have more than 10 types of garden wood, from tropical hardwood or Douglas to oak.

Where do I find advice on mounting decks, fences , sheet piles etc.?

Which certification marks do you comply with?

We comply with all certificates regarding legally harvested timber. We are also a member of the Feedback Company. We value customer feedback very much.

What does sawn, planed and fine sawn mean?

Raw or fine sawn wood:

Sawn wood is cut in the base with the machine. The wood may have some splinters after being cut. Sawn or Raw wood are used for garden wood and other outside wood. When it comes to planed wood, the wood has been smoothened mechanically. For example, all of our decking boards are planed.

Planed wood

Apart from sawing wood, this type is also finished by machine planing which makes the surface smooth. An advantage of this type of wood is that there are barely any fibres or unevenness left. We sell planed wood as beams or decking boards. The finish of planed wood is much nicer.

What to do in case of a complaint after receiving the products?

Download our complaint form at the bottom of the customer service page and send an email ASAP to info@hardhoutdiscount.nl. This form needs to be fully completed with a clear description of the complaint, preferably with some photos. We always resolve the complaint within 7 days. In case you cannot resolve a complaint through us, you can submit a dispute via www.sgc.nl. This can be done digitally by following the steps on the website.
