Mukulungu hardwood decking
Our wish was to make a deck in a woodtype that is stable, flat and maintenance free. We have doubted between mukulungu and ipe hardwood. The choice was ultimately made on mukulungu. The terrace is now already 3 months old. We wanted the wood color to be preserved, which is why we oiled the boards.
Foundation pole hardwood
The foundation pole is the basis of a stable platform. These posts are struck in the ground, and the lower beam is mounted on them. This creates a stable foundation for the decking boards still to be installed. On every square meter of platform, use 3 hardwood foundation piles. Use the correct screws that can securely attach the foundation post to the bottom.

I am not so handy, not that I can not make anything, but I am certainly not a carpenter. Yet my wife wanted a hardwood deck to be laid out in our garden. I asked the neighbor for help there, and he did a great job. We had placed 25 m2 of platform, I was totally busy with it for 1.5 days. This went faster and was fun to do.
